For me, Basic Combat Training is over. I don't think I'll miss any of it. I am grateful for the experience. I am more grateful, however, to be done with it. I am looking forward in anticipation of the future that now has hope.
I sleep more soundly now. Though one would think these days to be trying and stressful, I have been relieved of th burdons of worry. I know that my family is provided for in a stable, reliable manner. I know, finally, that
my efforts spent are efforts invested. How odd to find
that much sought for peace in the Army.

congratulations adam!!! an accomplishment worthy of accolades :) good luck in ait!!
Just twelve more weeks and our family will be together again. This short time in our lives will be worth it and our future will be better because of the sacrifices we are making now. The worst is over. This next phase will fly by and we will be together again before you know it.
I am so proud of you!!!
Congrats Adam! Everyone is so proud, and your family is off to a new, great start of something good! You're giving Franklin ideas, though, of what to do when he's back with papers.
Good luck in AIT, we know you'll rock, and btw so glad to hear you get to be with your family for Christmas!
