My Dad Hit Back And It Matters

An ambassador of self planted his seed and walked away
Obscurity
In defiance, you came into being
A thriving weed
Persisting and unwanted

The imposter took his place
A magic barrel, never full, never satiated
Pour the wine in; fuming rage results
Alchemy
Obscurity/Reduction

Defiantly you hit back with deathly intent
Oh, Man, you hit back and pounded your way into be-ing
But obscurity was bested through life, and not death

You planted seed of your own and remained
Cultivating you, became life for me
I was wanted
Father you, made me something

Because of you I am a father now
With you part of me, and them too
We are something from nothing, something alive from death
Because you were defiant
And hit back
Cultivating, loving, instructing
Be-ing everything they weren’t
Be-ing though they were not
